Preschool Mission Statement

“Timothy Lutheran Preschool is a ministry of Timothy Lutheran Church. Its mission is to serve children and families by sharing Jesus’ love with them through an academically excellent Christian Education in a safe, loving environment.”

 "Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these....     And He took the children in His arms, put His hands on them and blessed them".  Mark 10:14, 16

 

At Timothy Lutheran Preschool, we believe that "children are a gift from God; they are His reward." (Psalm 127:3)   The purpose of the school is twofold; to spread the news of Jesus' love and saving grace, and to promote spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical development of its students.  This is accomplished by recognizing that children learn through play.  As servants to the Word, the church and school reach out to families through worship, education, witness, service and fellowship.
